Kuliouou Ridge Trail

Kuliouou actually have two or three trails. One is the Kuliouou Ridge, the Valley and the Pu'u o Kona. Although we have not been to the Valley and Puu o Kona our favorite of all is the Ridge trail because it falls on the just right category. The trail is 5 miles in and out gaining 2,028 ft of elevation and pretty easy trail and a good workout, took us almost 3 hrs. This is the perfect trail when you want to do cardio exercise and strengthen your thigh and legs muscle.

Wailua Twin Falls - Kauai

Towering at 173 feet tall, Wailua falls is a Beautiful  "Mighty Falls". You can view it from the lookout but to the locals there is a way to check it out. It's a 5 minutes descend with some slippery part but it's worth the challenge. From the river you will appreciate the waterfalls completely with a mixed feelings and awe. We definitely want to check this falls again and swim on it. We just fell in love with KAUAI.

Waimea Canyon - Kauai

Located at the west side of the island of Kauai with the elevation of 3,400 ft above sea level and 10 miles long. The beautiful Waimea (Reddish water) canyon often called "The grand canyon of the Pacific", its weathered crags and color make it so beautiful. It will make you appreciate & hate nature. Appreciate in a way of carving the beautiful Waimea canyon over time which was formed by incision of Waimea river arising from the extreme rainfall on the island's central peak, Mt. Waialeale(rippling water or overflowing water), among the wettest place on Earth with 452 inches of rain a year. There's a lot of trails up Waimea for hunting and for day hike, there's also cabins that you could rent.
